Walls are squared and plumbed, and the ceiling and floor are leveled before closing to ensure a high-quality finish.

Full Rehab
A full renovation of a home consists of a complete gut of a dwelling. Before the initial work starts, construction documents and permits will be obtained for the project. Once the necessary document are acquired, demolition will begin. In this process, all interior walls are demolished down to the brick of the home, ceilings are removed, sub-floors are removed (depending on condition) and all components are removed (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) to create an open canvas. Full renovations are handled in a different manner compared to bathroom, kitchen and basement renovations. Full rehab renovations could require 3-5 months to complete. Many variables are considered to determine the duration of the project such as the size of the home, and extent of work that Jordan and Sons would be perform on the dwelling. A new roof is installed at the start of each full rehab project. During a full rehab renovation, walls and floor systems will be erected in the interior of the home according to construction documents. Waterproofing system will be installed in the basement of the property. New electrical, plumbing and HVAC mechanicals are installed throughout the property, and the dwelling-is insulated with quality CertainTeed products before walls are closed. After walls are closed, quality products are used to complete and finish the project.
